Wheels...

I have the 13 inch 4 bolt on my 85 and I am finding it really hard to find any wheels for it. (16 or 17')

Any suggestions?

You will probably have to order some that are custom drilled with the right lug pattern. I am not sure where you would go to. The local tire and wheel shops around here said they have several companies that they buy from one being "Centerline" makes blanks of most of their wheels then drills the pattern to what the customer wants. It costs a little more but if you want a specific style this may be the only way to go.

the bolt pattern is 4x110 not 100. This makes it really hard to find any wheels at all. One thing you could do is look for some SE rotor wheels which are pretty cool, or go for panasport. They are expensive but well worth it; making the car look amazing. 17's are a little much to push if your car is stock. If you have it ported i'd say still stick with the 16's. THe 17's will rub if you do some heavy cornering, therefor i say 16's are the way for you to go, i prefer 15s though.

Also, lager wheels will tend to 'track' the road more. Meaning you'll be following the humps and rises all over the road. Ask around in the 16 and 17" crowd, find out how much of a daily driving hassle surfing is.

You can get 15x7 rims from www.tirerack.com if I'm not mistaken. They look pretty good too.

If you're not too concerned about looks, check out Diamond Racing wheels. They sell both steel and aluminum wheels in a variety of sizes for our bolt patterns with the benefits of being both lightweight and inexpensive. Reducing wheel weights will make a noticeable difference in the general feel of the car.
