wheel and tire trouble

hey i got a 82 gsl I am compltely redoing. i was wondering what the offset o my stock wheels are. i want to go wider but dont want any rubbing. and i was also curious about what size tire would go good with 16 and 17 inch wheels. I am pretty sure the bolt pattern is 4X110. Please confirm. any input is gretly appreciated.

yup pattern is 110mm on the 82

i believe the offset is around +25

a 205/40/16 would be about the same as a 205/50/15
but if you wanna go 17" than you're gunna be bigger in
diameter even with a short 205/40/17 that's where it starts
to look out of place

Tire/rim

Had a friend that had 205/45/16 tires. 16x7 rims with 38mm offset.

You could always use a tape mesure to find out.
