Wheel spacers for an FB

I've put on some 83 LE's on my FB and they look great. I'd like them to fill out the flares a bit better though. How can I go about doing this? Looking at the original lug bolts it is obvious that I can't just put a standard aluminium spacer on them, as there would be far too little threads holding the tire on. Anybody here with some creative ideas, perhaps somebody who has done it?

SA lug bolts are longer, that may allow more spacing.

its been mentioned before, the SA lug bolts work, I just bought 8mm spacers for the rear wheels to do the same as your mentioning, I picked up locking lugs from ebay for decent deal, 60 deg cone seat, 12 x 1.5 28mm (as much longer than stock as the spacers are wide) so it should be secure,

I tried using spacers, and they were only 1/4", on the front. Couldn't get rid of the vibration, even after having the wheels rebalanced. I don't like spacers. Just got some new wheels so I can get rid of them. Best of luck...
