I run 205/60/14s on stock wheels on my se and have no rub. The only rub I get is when I turn either all the way to right or left. That is when my inner tire will rub against my Rb front sway bar.

well.. if it rubs, the tire is too big, thats the general rule if your not using stock equipment... if you are then the car is broken-ish (or its your mothers 626 and its not MEANT to be driven like that.......oops!)
how bad is the rub and where is it? rubber to fender? rubber to strut? rubber to sway bar? inner wheel well? there ARE options, such as a gentle roll.
we run 195/50r15 on some bimmer/stang rims with spacers and they rub on the fender lip when i push it... im gonna use my old bat to "persuade" the fender to move out of the way so as to not eat the new yoko's

Are they rubbing inside or out? If it's catching the fender lip, roll the fenders, if it's rubbing inside, use a spacer and longer studs/bolts If you have a stock wheel, compare the backspacing between it nad the Datsun rim and post the results.

I suspect you have another problem, say a badly blown shock and sagged spring, no way a 195 should rub, again it could be offset but if only one side sounds like suspension.
