16x7 on my FB doesn't stick out at all... the fender has a little lip on it at the end so my wheels aren't completely flush with it, but without the lip it would be pretty much aligned with the fender.

I ordered some Panasports, they suggested an 18mm offset. When I get them I will take some pictures of them on my car.

16x7-----mine are 40 mm offset but if you are gonna go ground control go 42mm or more for full adjustibility

wrong... go the other way...

I have GC's on 16x7 40s and they're as close as you can get to the strut and be happy.. 35-38mm would actually be the ideal offset if you want them flush withteh fenders..

I'm not too sure, but I think the offset for the GSL-SE is different than the rest of the FB's. My 15x6's are 15mm offset and they fit good.

Wait a moment here. Gregs, your car is an 81 right? So, it came with a 12mm offset, the GSLse has a 38mm offfset. Both Jimmy54 and Rx7GSLSE are providing you data from their 13b cars, whcih cam with a differnt stock offset than your car.

Hey is you PM MOREMAZDA,have
It looks like s your first gen a GSL-SE or not? The GSL-SE have very different offset than as 12A car.

yes, Jimmy & I are talking about the -SE setup...

Th RP-035's don't come in the proper bolt pattern for the early cars, so I was under teh assumption you had an -se suspension..

Is this not the case?

If you're needing the 4x110 then your offset will in fact need to be much lower.. unfortunately I can't tell you from experiance exactly what. I beleve the stock 5.5" wheels were ~25mm offset..

how about we work with backspace? You want no more than 4" of backspace

check out wheelspecs.com

I recommend you visit WheelSpecs.com to look up applications by bolt pattern, looks, *weight*...and then go see how much they cost from WheelsNext, TireRack, or Discount Tires.

Wheelspecs is an excellent source for information on wheels...they do not sell them.
