impact wrench will break it loose no problem, if you don't have access to one, have your local shop bust them loose for you. You could also spray them with some penetrating fluid and let it sit over night and try the wrench again...maybe put a 3' length of steel pipe over the wrench and try to break it loose that way. A tire iron is a worthwhile investment...can't see them costing more than $5 or $10

The stock tire wrench and a good swift kick will break 'em free.Be careful though that you don't put the end of the wrench through your shoe sole,or your soft fleshy tissue on your leg.

On a side note I dug out the tire wrech from my new 78,and it has the old school "M" logo on the bag.I was surpised by this.

ahhh you guys and your medievil kicking of wrenches and tire irons...look around your house for a lead pipe...or any metal pipe that has thick walls about 1.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 to 2 feet long...put the tire iron on the lug nut...put the pipe on the end of the tire iron and just lean on it...it'll torque off no problem with little to no effort guaranteed...a good pipe around the house for a lever on tools is probably the best investment you'll have...

You could pick up a can of PB buster. If your lugs are that tight, be prepared for hell when you get to the retarded retaining screws on the brake rotor. I had to drill mine out to get them off. Then my broke rotor was frozen in place and it took a come-along and a hammer to get those SOBs off. I have a post around here somewhere on it, old as hell but it's here.

But, the PB Buster works wonders. Used it to get some rusted in screws out of a 4-Wheeler, they were just stripped until I sprayed that on there, also used it for one of my lugs.

man, they shouldent be that hard to get off, the torq on the car should be 87ft. lbs of torq witch isent hard to break....roundabout has a good idea....(nice pic by the way)
the impact will work, all i know is that if there crossthreaded your fuc*ed, literally cause then you have to break the lugbolt to get it off and to do that you need an impact....(that would suck bad)
good luck....
