Here's what you do:
Take a drill. Drill two small holes into the nut, big enough to screw a couple screws halfway into them, and so the two screws will be about 1/4" apart.

Then, put a long screwdriver between the two screws and twist.

you know what would probably work is one of those "universal" sockets. They look like a spark plug socket with a bunch of pins inside of it.
ahh.. here you go. As seen on TV....

There is a lug socket that actually has spiral "teeth" cut into it. All you do it hammer it onto the lug and then turn the socket to loosen up the lug. Just throw the socket and lug on the ground to separate them.
craftsman makes something they call a bolt out socket it is meant for getting out stripped bolts but it will work in this case as well you will have to get a new lug but sinc eyou dont have the key anyhow

If you did then just go buy another set. They look like the cheaper ones that all use the same key for every set sold.

Just a thought. If you could find a socket that was a little too small, maybe you could hammer it on. It all depends how tight the nut was tightened. Antoher idea would be to clamp whatever kind of vicegrips (ie needlenose ones) over it, and then use an adjustable wrench to turn the vice grips.
Yeah, like the guy above me said, a smaller socket, just make sure it is a deep socket and just smash it on there. Nothing like brute force, now is there?
Or, if you have the time, cut a bolt head off of a bolt and welt it on there, maybe leave an 1/8" so you have some clearence fo the weld, and then use that to spin.
