Question Whats your 0-60 time?

Hey, i got a stock 1982 RX-7. I ordered some new RB headers and presilencers (believing this replaces the cats, and bolts on right?) and hopefully should speed up my 0-60 time. My X is had a new tranny put on it before i bought it... but its an automatic. I cant switch it out, parents think its wasteful. Right now with a performance tester from my Auto Shop @ school, we measured on the local street that my 0-60 is almost 12 seconds... ouch... its horrible. What do you think my time will go down by with the headers and ect. What i fear is that ill never go 0-60 in 7 seconds, or close with an auto. What do yall think? Whats your 0-60 times as well?

Mine is really good I've never timed it, but I did race an '03 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution from 0-100, and after we hit 30mph I was ahead the rest of the time. They are supposed to go 0-60 in 5sec.

According to really horribley done tests involving a back road and me trying to operate a stopwatch while speed shifting shows around 9 seconds, high 8's is probalby doable with my car if i could fully concentrate on driving and time it some other way. its a 114k original 12a, rb header, miller car, rb muffler, K&N filter, electric fan, and mechanical secondaries.
