Unhappy Whats wrong with my 79 SA?

So, I posted on here before in regards to my 79 RX7, I had a problem where it would idle by itself at 5500 rpm. I have since changed out the dead alternator and replaced all of the dry rotted belts and also seafoamed it. I started her up again and after some fighting I got it to idle between 900-1000 rpm. The problem I am having is that when I cold start it, it will idle on choke at 3000 rpm but will smoke quite a bit. Once the engine has warmed up and the choke turns off it will drop down to the 900-1000 range again but will still puff minuscule amounts of smoke. If I rev it up to around 4000 it will produce a whole cloud of smoke. Any ideas would be appreciated. I would really rather not have to rebuild the whole engine

Seafoam will cause smoke for quite a while. How long has it run since you ran it through the engine?

Like an hour or so, just idling. It needs brake work so I can't drive it anywhere yet.
