Whats that sound?
I just repleced my loud, rusted, hole ridden exhaust with a racing beat system. (damn i love it). It sounds greats, and runs well. However, being a lot quieter has made me hear a lot of other sounds that were previously muffeled by by loud exhaust. The only one thats really getting to me is a grinding sound that i hear when i coast while its in gear. It feels like something is griding and when i press the clutch, the sound goes away. Anyone have any ideas? All fuilds tranny/diff have been changed recently. I just need a plan of attack to schedule what to do on my next day off to fix this.
Thanks,
Billy

sounds like the same exact issue i have...
if i accelerate in 1st then take my foot off the accelerator you hear it...same in 2nd and 3rd...4th and 5th i don't hear it.
i've changed the fluid with no success to the grind...i did buy a used gsl-se tranny that will be swapped in sometime in the future.
