What's a 78 carbed 13B worth?

Hey,

Does anyone know what a carbed '78 13B (the old rotary pickup engine) is worth and how rare is it? The motor also has an aggressive street port, Cartech Racing turbo kit, Weber carb, and fuel pressure regulator. 18,000 miles on the motor. Just give me an estimate if you can guys, thanks.

I don't think there were any '78 REPUs, I'm pretty sure '77 was the last year they were made.
The '74-'75 13Bs had the largest stock ports, the intake ports were severely restricted in 1976 as a response to the "energy crisis".

Hmm...maybe I'm mistaken and the motor is a '77 not a '78. Is there anyway to tell by looking at the engine..like any codes or anything? They are so mysterious. It says it's a 13B and that it's made in Hiroshima. Where else do I look?

It could also be a Japan motor. 4-port 13Bs were available in Japan long after they ceased to be imported into the US. The side and center housings on the Japan motors are gas-nitrided to be harder, and have a sort of gray appearance as opposed to the black (usually rusty) cast-iron side and center housings of the earlier 13Bs. Most of the Japan 13Bs also had an EGR valve in the middle of the center housing like a Kalifornia 12A.
