Question whatmight be "Chirping" under my car??

Ok I just got back from a test drive in my car and I have an odd problem.

when I am decelerating in gear with out touhing th clutch I hear a "chirping" noise from what sounds like the lower right side of my Tranny housing. It actualy sounds like it is coming fro my passenger floor beside the tranny tunnel, but Im sure it isnt.

any one have an idea as to what I should look for?

Mike

ok i had the same problem, you gotta pull out the tranny. it can be one or more of following bearings which are all cheap (beside pulling out the tranny):
1. Pilot Bearing
2. Throw-out bearing
3. Input-shaft bearing for Tranny

mine was all of them and the noise was gone after change.

for the input shaft, you need a bearing puller for sure, good luck getting it out with a screwdriver and hammer.
