what you think?

ok, this motor is being sold for a hundred scrilla. dude doesnt know what year or anything. it's obviously just a short block. i planned on getting a 13b to rebuild and port anyways, is this worth 100 bucks?

is that a SE or FC engine or an older 4 port one from a cosmo or somthing. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to 13b's

Thats an N/A engine 6 port look on the lower intake and you will notice the port actuators. As far as price I think that is fine I paid $100 for my spare motor but I also got a tranny out of it.

if you find out the year you may be able swap endplates from a 12a... 13b upto 85 can swap with the 12a as the seals are in the same place

no to install the 13b into your fb you need the front cover off an se engine. se's were mounted via a motor mount on the front cover. I mentioned the 12a because if the motor was early enough you could mix and match parts to build a 4 port.

Judging from the first pic it looks as if your engine is a second gen based on the fact I thinik I see a Crank Angle sensor setup and not a dizzy...

So anyway swap a cover from an se and the puter unless you want to change wireing harnesses... no fun
