What year is my engine?
First off I tryied searching the archives and rest of the 1st gen to no avail.
My 84 GSL isn't going to be worth fixing... soooo...
I'm looking at buying a 79 RX-7 with a 13B and holly carb. Being the 13B did not come in a 79, how can I find out what year the engine is from?
Side note just double checking... earlier 13B's were 4 port along with all the 12A's... then in 84 witht he GSL-SE the 6 port 13B's were introduced right? Or are the six port 13Bs only for the turbo engines?

6 port 13bs were all NA in 84+, the turboII were 4 ports.
Hopefully you got a 4 port. Ask Jeff20b about it, he knows the in's and outs of these confangled engines.
