Question What would you do?

My 12a just died on me. The Apex seals are shot. What would you rather do:
1) Rebuild the engine-800$
2) Buy a new one-1960.0$

I need suggestions guys!

When my 85 blew, I took it out myself and replaced it with a SP. I didn't have the money to have somebody do it for me. Plus, I hate having anybody work on my car except me. The SP cost me $1400 shipped to my door and I had to return the core in their box. After everything was done, my total was up around $2000. I replaced EVERYTHING....radiator, all hoses and vac lines, new motor mounts, tranny mount, seals in oil cooler, the list goes on.

That won't stop the TANK from running you over!!! aaaahahahah!!!

No, really.. you should contact a good vendor and buy a J-spec TurboII and do the conversion. It'll be well under the $1900 you're looking at spending for a new motor, plus you'll have a lot more power.

Oops, looks like I corrupted Gamble. What a shame. Such a nice you man, now he's lost forever to the Dark Side. Maybe there's still hope for him, but y'all have your work cut out for you. He seemed to really enjoy the way my car accelerates out of the corners.
