What type of glue is used for sunroof, door seals etc?
Does anyone know what kind of glue I need to use(some sort of epoxy) to attach the seals around my sunroof?
Thanks ahead for your responses.

the glue is not so much for leaks, but to prevent it from snapping off. This is not a common problem for people that live in the tropical weather area, but for us that live in the colder weather and things freeze off. After a few year the plastic does weaken, So when you wake up one day and go to open up your door and find out its partially frozen, you rip the whole seal off.
Back to the question the 3M stuff seems to be working pretty good for most people.

Interesting, I live in NJ, both my FBs sit outside and I've never had a seal pull off during a snow storm, freezing rain, etc. I guess its possible, but I'm not sure you need to bother with it...
THe only times I saw that was in Montreal ... and it gets pretty cold up there ... I would just rather spend another 3$ or so for tube and make sure things are done better
I put new door seals on my '83. They didn't fit into the slot along the top and front of the door very well, and they seemed fatter than the originals. They would ocassionally pull out when the door was opened after sitting a few days (in hot weather). 3M weatherstrip glue fixed it!
