there form a early jap only model i belive.
l ive seen a set at a local wreckers and while they look novel, i wouldn't want them on my 7
the center caps are plastic too so they wont really match the polished look

...and personally, I think the 'rotor' thing can be overdone. I mean, with rotor shaped rims, seat accents, etc. etc. etc. it gets to be a bit much.
You don't see Honda guys scattering VTEC cam lobe shapes all over other bits of their car's interior and exterior trim, or the previous generation of Porsche 911s sporting 'air cooled' hubcaps and clocks...
I love the rotary principle, but think it belongs in the engine. If we must have mementos of our engines uniqueness, a tasteful keychain or hood ornament similar to the logo of this forum would suffice.
Of course, when it comes to taste, opinions vary. Look at lowriders...

RARE??? Plenty of those overhere! Just very difficult to find any in perfect shape... You can have them restored, but that's expensive... The wheels themself can be bought for reasonable prices overhere though (used ones)

I agree though, I think between the badging and perhaps some interior accents (shiftknob & steering wheel center), that should be enough.
Depends on if you want a clean polished look or a gawdy mess.

Man, what color is that car?
I'm a little color-blind, so it's hard for me to tell, but it looks like a sort of green/gold? Was that a stock color?
There are a few junkyards here in the US who have one or two rotor wheels hanging around. They can be found with a little searching, but they are expensive when you do find them.

I want a set!! I know they are plentiful over in Eroupe, from what I have heard..
I would paint the center, and the part between the rotor and lip, black, then polish the rotor, and lip... that would look AWESOME!
I would like to have them, and some wedds!

I can honestly say I don't ever recall seeing a set of those - on a car or in a junk yard. Might be kinda neat to have one in the garage, but I don't think I'd ever put a set on my car. No offense to anyone who may have them...

These wheels were discussed before and someone had a link to a shop where they were still available I believe.
I remember seeing two different style center caps, one in plastic and one in metal that was chromed.

ahh, so they are pretty common in europe?
*wonders who imports stuff from europe*
I saw a set on a car here in OZ the other week.
and they might be a bit overdone, but the car is just a daily driver, so they wouldnt make it overdone.
rotary emotions, what classes as a reasonable price for these wheels? I'm not scared of getting some imported

In Europe you can get them for a few bucks (sometimes less then $200 for a set), but it's getting harder to find a good set... One was sold for about $75, in very good shape, recently, and now I'm pissed off I didn't buy it.
Overall, you can expect to pay between $50 and $200. But mind you, import is going to be VERY expensive, due to weight. A friend of mine useally has a few used sets, and has sold them to the USA before, so maybe he can tell you a price on that.
