question

can you weld a manifold? i brought a S4 turbo manifold and it came with a 2 inch crack on it and i want to know if i can weld the crack until i have the money to a new one? thanks

Anything can be welded, thanks to JB Weld. Seriously, it probably can be; not with JB Weld ofcourse

Bring it to a good fab shop! If it is cast iron, it needs to be heated up slowly, welded with the proper filler material and at the right temperature, and then it needs to cool very very slowly, like many hours wraped in an insulated material. If not done correctly it will surely crack! Then the whole purchase and process was not worth it!
