What are Stock screw settings on an 80 carb?

I am putting the carb in my car and the previous owner "adjusted" the carb screw, idle speed and mixture, settings way out of whack and it will not idle now.

What are the stock settings for the screws in terms of number of turns out?

Are they the same for an 81 rx7?

hmm, ok.

the rebuild instructions said to back the top screw out 4 turns and back the bottom screw out 2 turns and go from there but that seemed too much.

Shop manual says 3 turns is the place to start, but your mileage may vary.
