I have a black 1983 rx7 12A and i dont know what their worth to sell... the engine is in process of being rebuilt so it should be done soon(it also only has 135,000km's originaly).. its automatic.. leather interior.. and its absolutly emaculate other than a small mark on the front panel(you can see it in the pic). Its good enough to easily pass collector or classic insurance standards(its also stock other than a few obvious things like new G34 tires and average replace stuff haha). What is it worth?

This question is asked all the time and there is no correct answer. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. What you have to do is research. You need to see what similar cars are selling for in your area. If you are putting it on ebay then you need to see what similar cars are going for in your region. But like I said the question cannot be answered until after someone buys it. And the big question is , What is it worth to you?

 

well gosh i could have given a big sentimental answer too. haha but i figured he just wanted some numbers. But Rx7 doctor is right, whats it worth to you? sell it for what you believe its worth. Try putting a Make an offer sign on it. See what people in your area think its worth.

Depends on how much rust is hiding underneath it. If you are paying for the rebuild from a shop, you stand a good chance of losing money on the deal. Particularly with the auto tranny.
