What should I do with this...

I have roughly 2 grand to spend on a 83 Mazda RX-7 12A. Just wondering whats the best thing i can get for the 12A engine which would get me the ebst bang for my buck.

If theres a better part for more then 2k, just list it anyways,

on a side note, how much money would it take to get this car running in the low 12's, 11's range?

definately start out with full costom exhaust, i always hear people say to buy a Full RB system but it is kinda pricey, i baught used headers... for 110$cdn, then payed 190$ for SS muffler and 120 for the shop to do a connecting pipe and bend over rear axel... not sure on other mods... still new to the modding world not to mention driving world

Thatsa Nice in time tho, To begin with since 2k won't get me too much. i am thinking in the lines of getting this done:
- Exhaust/muffler since the car doesn't have one
- Paintjob (black over my current black, to fill in
scrathes)
- And either re doing my interior in a dominant red
them with some black
-or-
- Get a body Kit, don't know the name of kit, but it
is kind of like this.

if i do all of the work [except paintjob of course] I think I could get the better part of this done. A decent looking set of rims would be next after those.

I agree with yayo and superfast. With 2g's you could get a TII jspec, tranny, and a few other goodies. Of course you would have to do all the work, it would cost a fortune from a shop. It would be the best start for a badass FB.

Good luck.

Yea, don't kid yourself, it would be a serious hack job to get a 13BT in for 2g's...

it would take alot of money or a v8 to run 11s in an fb.

and you don't want to go the v8 route

rotaries are great, but to get to the insane horsepower numbers with such a small motor will take $$$.

if it was easy to fit a 20b... 11s would be much easier
