What is this reservoir?

84 GSL-SE new owner noob here. From the passenger side of the car looking down there are two reservoir in the back left of the engine bay. The top one is the windshield cleaning stuff i think (doesnt matter) There is another small reservoir beneath that and it is not shown in my manual. WTF is it? It is empty and I dont have any power steering at the moment. According to my manual it is somewhere else, but after looking EXACTLY where it should be there is nothing there and no evidence that there ever was. Help a car newb out please.

Ok cool. Live in the south, dont have to worry about it. Where do you add power steering fluid at?

p/s fluid should be added at the power steering fluid resivour..which is located to teh rear of the p/s pump. mazda states that unless a power steering hydraulic component is changed or there has been a leak, the fluid does not need to be serviced and that it is life of the vehicle fluid.

the sub zero starting assist injects a 90% antifreeze and 10% water mix into the intake manifold when temperatures are below freezing. there is an oil temp sender in the left side of the oil pan that detects oil temperature for the sub zero starting assist.

As far as the power steering, it was an option and your car may not have it. The power steering pump, if you have one, is right below the AC.
