Can anyone approximate the price of Rx7 1982, 269K, good-fair condition, still running well.

Thanks,

I'd go lower to $400, that motor is on it's last leg.

A year ago, I got a hell of a deal and paid $600 for an '82 with 79K miles on the clock. The lot said they would have charged $1300 if they could have figured out why it kept dying.

I guess what I'm saying is that I agree with these numbers, somewhere between $300-500 would be the most I'd pay. Unless they recently rebuilt, you're looking at about a $1200 bill for that soon.

One other thing to consider in the price: what model is it? A GSL would be worth considerably more that a GS at this point in it's life, if only for the LSD rearend...

Basically just look at the car as though it has no motor, and figure out what you feel it's worth, then maybe add $100-150 depending on how strong the motor feels.

Later,
Brian Heston
