What parts can fit from a RX-8 into a 83 LE?
It's been a long while since I've posted anything here as I'vebeen keeping my LE running till I can work on it more. But because it's a LE (83 Limited Edition) I want to keep most of it original as much as possible. But the interior is either missing or fought the huge UV beast in the sky for over 30 years and the last owner not putting in any kind of tint to protect the interior. So for example, if you blow or just stare at the rear plastic pillar covers between the rear and corner windows near the rear speakers, it will crumble to dust.
But within a bike ride distance from my home, a auto repair shop has a totally wrecked grey 03 RX 8. The car appears to been rolled about in a crash but the interior looks really good and all black and grey. Even the engine looks good too. From what I've seen, this car has leather seats, they are clean and firm, needs cleaning but no rips or tears. The exhaust pipes are marked "HNK"as its pulled out to the side. Has what it appears to be or maybe factory a short 6 speed stick. I like that shifter. But FBs got 5 gears, lol center console seems intact.
Now my LE needs work but despite that it does run well enough to drive place but with a high idle which I'm looking for the cause, my transmission my need a rebuilding since at rare and random times when the tyranny warms up, it's a battle to shift 3 to reverse, grinds to get into reverse while its in that kind of mood so I had to double peddle to get anything done. Speakers are cooked at the rear but funny the worst rot dried, no foam left on the cone works compared to the complete one. And the front pair, I don't remember if only one or both works. Exhaust system my need some attention but nothing illegal to drive but want some work done to it. The center console seems it's not installed well or won't in place from who last owner. And my LE is the original Renaissance metallic red color code and the interior is the similar or maroon. Before it faded out in most places and seems the original owner removed the leather from the seats and got maroon cloth but kept the head rests leather.
I've seen write ups on people putting in RX 8 seats into a FB so what else I can use if I decide to get anything from this car? I hate to see it go to waste as who ever had that car, took care of her till it's unfortunate mishap. I hate to change out my original interior parts but I guess I can hold on to them if I want to have it original. Let me know if you need pics and if you want pics of the RX 8, I'll see if I can do it and get permission. And what you guys think if it looks odd or out of place and character, bad color scheme, anything.

I did some updating in the original post and said some stuff wrong. I can't take pics of the car but from what I can say about the seats, these are powered and heated so I can see that can be in use but need to look in a power write up on besides the rails. Plus the passenger side air bag was deflated so I'm not sure if that is something I need to worry about or what I can do but stuff it back in or anything I can think of from here.
The steering wheel is like most modern cars and have all kinds of controls on it. I do have a newer head unit but I'm not certain I can use any of those buttons there unless anyone know more I can do to use this or pull out of the 8.
Shift **** is a 6 speed so I can see it in my car but confusing unless I change the label on top or something.
The guy did offer to sell the whole car but not sure on price but he did said the engine and tranny are good. I'm thinking if that's the case I'll just get a totally hulled out 8 and move everything over to it. But I got enough cars, but got one rotary. I would say move them to my 7 but that more work and money, plus it would cut more into whats left that is original in the LE. What advice any can give or input can be given from what I said so far or what you know?
