You'll need an intake manifold, a carb, and a new fuel pump at the very least.

And if the carb doesn't have provisions for the OMP you'll have to either premix or find a way to make it work.

From Vintage Rotaries Site:

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Rotary Carburetion, Compiled by Ausrotary's Hempie, Revised by Crit

From personal experience... A properly done Dellorto carb (with working 6 port actuators) and good exhaust is amazing oin a GSL-SE.

Holley fuel pump!
holley fuel regulator!
Racingbeat or Mazdatrix holley intake mani or the Dellorto intake...
Fuel filters
And to run the the OMP...all you have to do is run some kind of linkage off the accelerator pump or open the omp all the way and run the omp hose to a vacume on the side of the carb...
Carb size for holley on the gsl-se 600 or 650 vacume seconds...your golden...Im not really into the whole dellorto movement...but eh its whatever to each there own!!!

Never ran a Holley yet..

but I have ran a Dellorto on a 6port w/pinapple sleeves... No complaints whatsoever. It had a good powerband. Seemed like nowmatter where u were... low, mid, high end... If you mashed the pedal it was always real responsive = lots of fun.

1st thing you need to do if you have not already done is put a Racing Beat Header system. Without 1st changing the exhaust the carburetor system will not be very functional. :-)

Like the doc said up-grade one thing you got to follow through on the other....Exhaust is a major plus in getting the max amount of HP...Get your self a little header run the exhuast get your self a little muffler and you will be really happy with all the upgrades...

Just upgrading the intake slapping a carb is only half the battle and is going to get chocked up in the exhaust if you don't change it...

Best of luck with you, let us know what you end up with

It's possible to keep the SE fuel pump, but you need a really good bypass FPR. (Mallory 4309, Aeromotive, or Malpassi). Also pick up a good FPR gauge from ReSpeed. You will see very little gain, 5-15 hp at best, without a full header and exhaust upgrade. Upgrading both should net 40+ hp.
