does anyone no where i can get my hands on a driver (R) door latch the bit that bolts to the body? or an equivelant?

 

post a WTB in the classifieds. In fact, look around in the Classifieds for someone that's parting out a car.

 

hu what year and what part again, door handle ???

 

Since i know most people assume the door latch is broken, i will ask why do you think you need one. Did it actually break or did the outer door handle stop working. Because that is a factor of the linkages inside the door. Common problem.

 

i just dont have 1 i need 1 to keep my door closed its the metal bracket that bolts to the body and the door locks onto it.

 

He just needs that steel loop thing that mounts inside the rear of the doorjamb and holds the door closed. I tried my big phillips-head on 2 of them at the JY today but they were on too tight. Needed and impact driver.

Next wenesday (discount day) I'll be at the JY again and this time I'll bring an impact driver.
