Yep^, Your air pump has been removed probably from the previous owner. That hsoe would connect to the air pump

that is the inlet for the air control valve. your air pump is not present. i really hope that you don't have converters. without the air pump and or the split air tube, they'll overheat.

Racing beat sells a blockoff plate for the air control valve, you might as well get rid of it since your pumping air through it....

You will not need it for emmisions as all 1st gens a now exempt from it. Any car above 20 years old is exempt. Lets now talk about the 07 rule ... because talking to alot of people it doesn't apply to us. Anyhow it feeds air to the catalytic converter so that it doesn't burn it. Also required for some emission controls.

You can take all the emmission stuff out. All you need is safety and that is not part of it. So you can strip all the rats nest, get some headers and just straight through mufller(s) depending how much noise you like lol

Don't get a fart cannon, thats for hondas .... not rotaries. Sterling works, and tunes carbs... search on him. Does great work. I would check him out if you need help with your carb. Get a Borla instead of the fart cannon

I know there are some videos of some guys on here with borlas somewhere...I just checked youtube for you...type in 12a with borla... 4 vids came up. The borla is a lower note with more reliability than the fart cannon With good flow..They are great mufflers and hear the stand the heat of the rotary.
