what the heck is this!

Do you know????

cause I dont!

I`ve been reading the manual, trying to place this part SOMEWHERE and I just can figure out where it goes or what its for

Its from a 1980 by the way. I got the car dissasembled and Im trying to put it back in one piece

It looks like a mount for the front valance ... ?? It looks like its been bent all to hell.

I have 2 of those and they look the same way

Something about it reminds me of the wiper assembly. Not sure what though. Good luck anyway.

Edit: nvm, there'd be no reason for having 2 of them if it was the wiper assy

For some reason I picture that part bolting to the fender towards the bottom and the hooking to the bumper cover possibly or the body. The later FBs had a part like that only it was in the shape of an "A" sort of.

I don't recall ever seeing that part anywhere on my SA. Could use a couple different views of it, though.

You sure it's an 80? That air cleaner lid is not from an SA.

I have an 80 and an 81

The part is from the 80, 100% sure

Ah, ok.

Can you take pix of it from a couple more angles? It's hard to really make out the shape from just that one shot.
