Unhappy what happened to my engine?

for some reason its building pressure pressure in side and it forces oil out where ever it can .I disconected the pcv and when it revs up it smokes and spit out of the oil filler neck. is my motor shot or what ?

If it's too much oil, and if you've ran it for a bit, then you may have f'ed up the seals. I'm not sure if it's any different on a rotary, but I know that if you run a piston engine with too much oil, it can REALLY mess up the engine.

You did CHECK the oil after you put some in, right?

IIRC it's not as big a deal on a rotary, to a point. I can't remember which thread I saw it in, but a while back someone was saying that like half a litre too much wouldn't necessarily hurt, and you could last like that until you burnt it off...

Dunno if it's true

Otherwise, for your problem I don't know, but I'd check to make sure that you're getting proper flow... maybe you've got a clogged oil filter and oil can't flow properly so it sloshes around alot... or maybe your pump is on it's way out?

My sister did that once to her rotary engine, 1 qrt too much and it smoked like hell for 2 days strait then the smoke started to slowly go away. So it seems to be true that on a rotary engine it doesnt do much harm if any at all. By the way she also tried to jump start her car but connected the cables on backwrds .......

well I checked the oil and its not that and it relly doesnt smoke that much but it runs like sh** but at higher rpm it runs better but that is when it builds up the pressure.

I'm gonna guess you just changed the oil and used a shitty (Probably classic orange Fram) oil filter... Change to purolator...

Other than that, I'm gonna suspect oil pressure regulator.

Theres 2. One in the front cover, and one in the rear plate. Look at Glazedham's thread about his oil pressure sender problems for a pic of the rear regulator.

sorry but I have to disagree with this one. Im running a FD rear oil pressure regulator in my FB's 13-B street port. I never had any problem with blow-by or anything except once in a while, I worry as the oil pressure goes beyond 110 PSI.

First thing first, swap that oil filter for a Purolator and see what happens... It's cheap and not much trouble to get at.

Fram is not known for quality.

I was under the impression he's seeing abnormally high oil pressures, as it's forcing oil out every orifice...
