what to get for christmas....

well, the VA just handed me a check cuz the army broke me, so ive got a couple hundred bucks left over after the bills are all payed off.

so help me out here, what can i get for my gsl? its all stock except the exhaust, and please, nothing like a turbo, 20b, or a full set of snap-on tools. got some mad money, wanna see what i can do with it.

pay for that port job ive wanted? get the carb done? alternator upgrade? buy a belt sander, a bucket of bondo, and some high gloss spray paint and do some body work? i AM gonna get one of those mothers polishing ***** and shine up the rims though....

How about getting rid of the old beehive cooler and going with the 2nd gen cooler.

There's one for sale in the 1st gen section for 150 w/ braided lines. Look up

you could definatly give the car a paint job. i havent seen the car, but i'm sure 20+ years and it could use the paint job. you could go through and replace worn or faded interior parts. do some good overall pmcs(you should know what that is and thats coming from a 63S20 with 5 good years to uncle sam). if that doesnt spark your interest, buy a glass moonroof(if you dont already have one).

if you have the exhaust done already, youll have a lot of fun with a sterling carb, and maybe 2nd gen ignition mod. youll have to run a new fuel pump and regulator with the carb, though.

paint is a little out of my budget the way i want to do it (strip, media blast, rust repair/bodywork, repaint factory colors with truck liner undercarriage) and i swapped out the nasty red for a real nice grey)
glass moonroof: check

and if you think i dont keep up with basic -10 level maintenance, maybe you should get checked for nerve agent exposure, heh. remember, FRH is a carcinogen.

does sterling have a website, or is it all done on pms? thats sounding good and itll be one less thing to get when i decide to get it streetported. but maybe ill do the FMOC and wait till i get back from reclass (13F to 25U) and do everything else. 17 weeks of e5 pay +tdy (i hope) ought to cover it

Well, I'd like to have a set of Racing Beat springs, a set of Tokico shocks, a Bonez high flow cat and muffler, new carpet, new seats, and a few more hours of daylight a week to work on it

Merry Christmas! - David

I love my Mikuni, on a stock port, if you intend to have any serious porting go Weber 48IDA. IMHO

Don't forgo ignition either the 2GCDFIS is easy, cheap and effective
