How durable is the RB exhaust system? I would hate to spend the money on it and then it fall apart in 6 months. Are there any known problems with the RB setup?

known problems: incredibly heavy, incredibly expensive

i've heard that the RB parts simply do not fail... then again they are made of 1/8" thick mild steel!

86+ headders and a HKS rear muffles for a T2

I've missmatched exhaust componants to get the most of of a street ported 13b SE motor. I used a 88 RB headder.. which is a little larger than the one disigned for the SE and 2 PreScilensers .. one right behind the other.. and a T2 HKS rear section. I found this to produce the deepiest sound.. quiet @ cruzing.. yet deep upon acceleration. It just takes a little extra time and patients.

i live about a two hour drive from them (less than 100 miles) and i still had to wait three weeks to get my exhaust. although that was not due to shipping (shipping only took a day), that was do to them ******* around and not boxing my order. i called the shop every week, and always the same answer. "hmm, well we have all of the parts here, so i wounder why it has not been boxed and shiped."

on to the subject, it is a good exhaust but you can get it built for less at a custom place if they know what they are doing...

the only problem that i have seen with my rb exhaust is that the presilencers hang low. even lower than the muffler. so if you have lowering springs, or anything of that sort, you may run into problems.

why didnt you just go pick it up,
chances are you would of spent in gas what shipping costs you and got it alot quicker.
