What Does After Market Exhaust Look Like?

it just occured to me that i never checked the exhaust systems in the junk yards or under the hoods for any special treats...im thinking ill go tomorrow to see what i can see...i was just wondering if there was anything special to look for...I.E. "Racing Beat" printed on anything? or something like that? oh well no big deal..thanks guys

usually they'll have a nice chrome tip for the exhaust.... but that's not the best check. rb stuff is built like a tank, really thick and heavy. tap the pipes and muffler with a hammer. the rb will feel unusually 'thick', not hollow. also, look for presilencers attached. looks just like a glass pack, but it's packed with stainless steel wool. my old rb street port exhaust had 2 presilencers on it. the exhaust was seperate tubes for about 3/4 of the system. the p/s were staggered, one on each tube, and the pipes came together near the rear axle into one pipe.

The header has RB stamped out of it at the top of the flange
