1st gen MR2 fans work great. Two fans that mount side by side and make for a perfect fit. Then, you can get two separate fan controllers so that the fans will each kick on at different temps.

My setup was 20 bucks for the fans, and 18 each for the controllers (Autozone). You can hook it up with only one controller running both fans and still works great, but most times one fan is all you really need anyway even on the hottest days.
