What do you like most about your FB?

This question came to mind while driving my FB on the highway. What is the one most important thing that you love about your FB? If you had to pick one thing. I myself love how it "settles" itself on the road while driving. By that I mean how it just seems so well poised on the road. Feels perfectly balanced, everytime I hit a dip in the road, the way it bounces just right as if to say "Got Grip?" Car feels so perfectly balanced on the road, as if it just floats. I love how it gives the impression of outstanding handling, if that makes any sense.

So, what is the one thing everyone else loves about their FB?

I love the rotary engine, and looks, I hate the mileage, and having to listen to people try and explain to me why "the rotary sucks"....

yeah, the whole "rotaries suck" thing really gets on my nerves sometimes, especially when it comes from people who know NOTHING about cars. god, i want to punch his lights out, "brokeback joel"

anyway,

i love how rare it is up here, and how simple and easy to work on it is.

I like that it's an SA, and doesn't have that funky front end that FBs have.

For me, its the aggressive sort of predatory look of the nose in particular, with the long downward shaped hood. It looks as a sports car should. Also, the torque for such a small powerplant. I took a friend for a ride who drives a 260 hp all wheel drive Talon, and asked if it felt like only 135hp to him, and he was shocked that's all it was!

I would like it better if it had square headlights sunk into the front edge of the bumper and not the pop-ups as I drive with headlights on all the time, but you can't have everything. I also wish parts were easier to come by as I'm restoring to 100% factory original.

That is the exact same way I felt about my first RX7- the Handling with a capital "H"!!! felt like the car anticipated my moves every time- like having a good partner backing you up when the cards are down- damn now I am getting deep

+1 for its simplicity, you can take everything apart so easily, work on anything, and have it running when something goes wrong in no time.

I agree with those who say the simplicity, and the fact that it looks the way a sports car should look. I like the well balanced feel and the way it accelerates on the freeway with all that torque - well, actually, that may be because of the Ford V8.

the thing i love most about my SA is that it feels like an extension of myself when im driving. not just a person sitting in a seat turning a wheel and pushing some pedals. i become one with the rex... :P

Thats the truth! When she is down, Im down. When she is running great I cant be happier. I just get this feeling that I am king of the world, nothing can beat me, and my car is far better than any new production vechile out there!

i think the one thing i love the most about my rx7 would be this forum, without this place, i would have a ginormous spoiler and all kinds of lights...now ive sunk about 6 grand into it, and it still looks the same... all of that money is almost all of the money ive made in the last 3 years, and i think that says alot, still being a highschool student.

oh, yea, i also like the snail.
