Well there it is. Its the closest that I've come so far to that Mclaren Green that I showed earlier. Just before anyone says anything too, not the whole fender was painted only the top right corner of it. Also I should say that we didn't bake the paint, we basically shot the base let it dry for 5 minutes or so then shot the clear. So it doesn't have the depth that It should have in reality. I was just too eager to see it. I didn't even let the clear dry up we took it right outside.

Why ask what WE think. It's YOU that will have to see it everytime you drive your car. If you like it, does it really matter what anyone else thinks?
BTW, I do like it, just hadda bust your chops a little

If you have a color custom made to suit your taste, ask for the formula. Most all paint stores will provide a printout, so you can have more mixed later, if you need to touchup or make repairs.

Terrified.
That is a downright beautiful color. It will definitely look good.
Also I am with OnlyOnThurs. I want to do an First gen in Montego Blue... Man that would look sharp too.

Just a question about it though.
Are there codes available for this paint? That is precisely the color I want to paint mine when its completed. I love it.
Whats the paint costing you, minus labour?

When you said McLaren, I thought you were talking about the McLaren F1, not the SLR McLaren, because that green looks very close to it. Still love the color, BTW.
Okay, for some reason, the server won't display my pictures.
So, I'll have to provide a link to a picture of one until the server quits acting up.

Hey guys,
The original color that I had here was a slightly modified Mercedes Everest green (I can pull up the color code later on tonight I have sitting around somewhere). I Have now found the someone that will actually do the Mclaren green which is normally a tad darker. It was a problem with water based paint and what not and not being able to do them here due to regulations. The Actually Mclaren green is called lafayate Green (I think thats spelled correctly). My car will be out of the paint booth on november the 1st or second, but once its out, i'll post up pictures of that so you can compare both.

Color looks great! Now it's not a "mazda" color for any model rx7, so if it is not a restoration project on a SA or GSLSE than I say so what, even if it was I'd still say "so what" as our cars are never gonna be 6 figure collector cars. Love the color, the project is gonna be distinctive and look modern at the same time!
