What do you guys think of this emblem?

The RX-7 will be going thru paint soon and I will be having all of the emblems airbrushed by a local talent that will make them look like the stock emblems only painted. I do want to have a supercharged emblem on the car, but I want it to look kinda like stock. So I made this:

It's not going to be big, maybe on both sides of the fenders. Dunno.
Too gay? Whatcha think?

The Z is a little corny. Make it an "S" , especially if you want it to look kinda stock.

What he said. If it was a Z car then it would be tighter.

I like the idea of using a rotor as a letter. I would also consider spliting it into two lines to give it more of a classic badge look

sorry it looks choped, I don't have whatever font you used so I just cut it up to give the idea of adjusting the kerning/tracking.

and here is the .psd if you want to edit it for yourself.

one of my friends said it looked like superchorged instead of supercharged... flipping the rotor to have an apex at the top.

hahaha done and done

I've made one with a fade in the A so it looks more like an A...
it's not coming out too well on here, but it looks decent in the photochop.

dude, dload the .psd if you want only mazda or rx-7 inside the rotor... they're different layers so it'll be really easy to change.

Hmm? Pics!

These would make for cool vinyl decals. Only problem is no market for them considering there's like 3 of us with s/c's LOL

The rotor details are too fine. Simplify, stylise, and integrate it in the supercharger word.

I say just use the stock RX-7 emblem and put "supercharged" in Mazda print to fit nicely under it. Don't make the "supercharged" longer then the RX-7 emblem but keep it the same length as it. IT makes it seem more stock, plus people will have a harder time reading to see what it says so you can still be a sort of sleeper ;-)
