What do u guys thinK?

I went and check out an 84 GSL-SE tonight... the guys wants $2800 for it.. i got him down to $2400 (canadian).. the car has 188,500km on it. got a new clutch last year.. its complety stock.. its bean sitting for 6 months... its was painted cherry black 2 years ago... not a perfect job..... started the car up and took it for a ride... runs real nice.... what do u think? i'll try and post pics of it tomorrow when a go back

188,000km is a fair bit.. make sure to get a compression test.
and i dunno about the price cus i aint canadian..

2800 should be like 5 cents or something ;D

~120,000 miles isnt really all that bad
check the usuals oil,coolant,storage bins

CND and AUS dollars about about the same, I think that the CDN dollar is a bit more than the AUS. For an SE, $2400 is a good deal, I'd probably snap it up.

Yeah, so LONG AS THE BODY HAS NO RUST (check storage bins)

its a definate buy. I bought mine for 3 grand, near perfect body/paint, WITH RIMS, but with a terribly neglected engine (hadnt been propperly tuned in years, previous 2 owners were girls)

If you want the car buy it before it goes. First impressions are what matter as there will always be minor faults to make you be uncertain if you have a shadow of a doubt from your first drive.
