what to do with the drivetrain?

ok, so i have finally got a 82 base with a 6port carbed and 3letter rear end that needs work.

i have tII complete swap which i will be bridgeporting with a holley 600. i have the tII transmission and drive shaft and the original 12a transmission with drive shaft. the rear end needs work its sloppy.

my questions are should i change the whole diff out? or fix it? if i change it what diff would mate up with the tII tranny with out getting one made. if i fix it im probly going to go with a different ratio back there possibly a 4.8.

i really want to keep the same wheel pattern so i can keep the same wheels. i need help thanx

You're going to need a custom drive shaft regardless of which diff you use.
