I'm reading that the 84-85 cars had bigger rear differentials but I'm thinking it's only the GSL-SE 13b cars.

Does anyone know what differential my car has?
It is an 85 12A with the automatic trans.

If needed, I can get some pictures the next time I work on it.

All 84-85 are big bearing cars.

Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm, that's true even for 84-85 12A automatic cars?

Read some conflicting info stating 12A automatic cars had the small axle, but it could have been misinformation.

the only difference with it being automatic is it will probably have different gearing in the rear than the manual cars.

Thanks for the reply. That's true, I just looked up the gearing for manual vs automatic and they're different.
