Question What color are YOUR gauge needles?

Hey, I just noticed something about my factory gauges.

All my needles have faded from orange to yellow. This must be from the sun, but the rest of my interior shows no signs of fading...

I looked at a great many pics on this forum and other websites, and it looks like everybodys needles are like this. Is there any way to recolor them? When you put new faces in, they use the original needles, don't they?

If anyone's needles are still orange, or if you know how to color them, post pics or a reply, thanks!

I wish I knew..... and yes, everyones has faded from orange to yellow. I think the light alone from being backlit causes it. I guess Mazda didn't test the dye for longgevity, lol.

I just recolored mine with a red permanent marker (Sharpie). Worked well, they look good, and are still illuminated at night. Hasn't faded off yet...
