Here are the options, so please stick to these choices. I have decided to use a stock color but it is hard to choose which one. I am looking for a little "wilder" of a color and came up with these.

Please forgive me for using other forum members cars, but this is the only place I could find the colors on the correct application.

Also note that the pic is the color CLAIR. It, like the others is an SA color.

 

How about FD montego blue.

Yellow - rare color on SA's.

 

Well I voted for yellow IanS... But I'm disappointed that you're not going with GM Dark Purple Metallic.

Yellow is too played out.

Go for the Orange.

My '84 is R7=Percimon it is a little more rare then Yellow. It catches peoples eye all the time.

It is not an irridesent paint, but it does change colour with the amount of ambiant light available.

Voted for Clair. My husband (Hades 12) has a 79 this color. It is nice. Good luck.

i love the clair but definately loose the pin striping
but if its got a kit anything like that ferrari lookin thing go for the yellow, orange wouldnt look good on something that exotic looking


but if you want another suggestion ill tell you black lowered with mags can make even a reliant k car look cool!!(as if theyre not already cool) as long as its done well...

 

I like the Clair. That's the color of my '79. I think it looks really good with gold pin stripes. Of course, I haven't seen the other colors (and I'm a little bias).

 

I too, like the clair but I wasnt too sure of how it looked at different times. One of my previous cars turned purple (was candy apple red) in flourescent light. How does the clair hold up to different lighting? Does it turn a funky color or something?
