Okay okay, I know it's brown but what did Mazda call it? I've seen "Havana Brown" but that's a dark brown, mine is much lighter. The car in my avatar pic is mine. It's an 85 GS. So... does anyone know? TIA

 

Maybe its one of those browns that manufactures try to pass off as "Gold" or something.. any gold names?

 

check the paint code under the hood and i'll see what i can find
its on the passenger side of the firewall nice and easy to read

The non Metalic paints are a Alkyd Enamel.

 

It is in Al Kharj, about an hour from Riyadh. I am only TDY here so no Rx-7 . I do have a lovely Chevy Multi-stop Deisel van. It handles like crap, but plenty of power.

I will be back in Texas with my Rx-7s soon though.

I guess I have a "rare" color RX-7. What in the hell was Mazda thinking when they painted the RX-7 LIGHT BEIGE?? It must be the pre-Desert Storm color for the RX-7. I'm not complaining since I have not seen another RX-7 in my color in New England. Anyone else have an 85 with light beige?
