I'm having real problems with my stock carb on my '78 12a motor, it just keeps flooding at tickover the fuel is pouring in, so i'm thinking of changing the whole carb. Can you tell me if this Edelbrock fits straight on,if not what mods will i need to make?

That's a good one for a 12A. The holley 750 would be too much for the 12A in my opinion.
