My se has all red interior and i want to change it to all black.

What is the best way to do it with the least money?

 

get another 84-85 parts car with a black interior and swap everything over

 

try to find a 84-85 rx7 with black interior, on a local yunkyard, ebay, partstrader.com. that my sugestion

 

Parts car for the dash, panels, headliner and all that stuff, and you can buy a new carpet from victoria british. Going the eBay route will end up being expensive and time consuming, what are the chances that a full interior will be up there all at once? not likely.

 

I saw a couple full enteriors for a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth...no 7's though.

 

get some vinyl paint, works great

 

and what model had black interior in 84-85 ?

if you answered none you are a winner.

they had grey on black but it was mostly grey

use GOOD vinyl paint,
but buy new carpet,dont try to spray and carpet it wont hold.especially if you live in michigan in the winter with salted roads then people track it in.not good

Silver SE's sold in Canada often came with a black interior

 

no black interior option in america

but then again i have only seen 3 silver se's
