What is the Amperage rating/limit of the factory ignition switch?
In the total rebuild of my TurboII first gen, I am installing a Custom wire harness. I'm guessing the factory switch is up to the task based on wire size, but does anyone have a spec?
Btw ill have some sweet new pics up soon, now that the snow is melting.

One thing you can do to limit the currect through the switch is put the headlights on their own harness and use relays to trigger the headlights like the Black Dragon wiring harness does.
It really helps.

Yeah relay that ignition circuit to take the load off the switch and harness. I relayed my ignition,
fuel pump, lights and electric fans. Makes a world of difference and keeps a lot of amperage out
of the old harness too.

lights are seperate on the AAW harness, fuel pump, fan, coils, injectors, ecm, and wideband will all be on there own fused and relayed circuits.
Im fairly certain that it is more than capable, but I could not find a rating anywhere. Haynes manual, Factory service manuals, ect.
