What all is needed for big brake kit lines on an SA?

I’m down to the brake line plumbing on my big brake kit. (front wheels only). I’m assuming no one makes some sort of easy adaption kit? Anyone know the exact fitting adapters I need to buy to adapt the SA to the TII brake calipers? Running the GSLSE strut with adapters. TII HUB with 4 piston calipers/discs.

Thanks

So just so I'm getting this straight:
SA chassis
Front BBK swap only
SA stock brake line to TII front brake calipers
GSL-SE strut
TII wheel hub

I'm picking up a set of TII calipers tonight, not sure if I can tell you the fitting size right away though. Are you looking to make your own stainless braided AN line? I guess that would be my route if I was in your shoes - shouldn't ever have to worry about it again.

Pretty much. I ordered the OEM TII replacement Hyd. flex lines from RockAuto when I ordered the TII calipers as well. They were like $7 so I just grabbed them in case I could use them.

I don't "need" SS lines. But it may be the easiest as you say. This is just a drag toy so I'm not on and off the brakes a bunch. Not worried about brake hose expansion and all that.

Ok I understand. I guess if it was me I'd run SS lines just for the longevity and ease of installation myself. Do a hard line adapter on the stock SA brake line after cutting it off, to a SS line, with an adapter to the TII caliper on the other end of the hose.

I guess I'm not sure how else to make that work besides some funky adapter from the SA hard brake line to the TII soft brake hose. Good luck with it!

Throw up some pics when you get it all sorted out, I'm sure others are interested in your findings as well.

the SA chassis is 10x1.25 thread brake line, and the 81+ Mazdas are 10x1.0 thread on the brake lines, so you need to either do a 10x1.25 to AN to 10x1.0 brake line, or something like that.

Great, thanks.

So technically something like this could allow me to use the TII OEM flex lines with the SA hard lines?

yeah, i didn't know those things existed

i've done it where you get the 10x1.25 to -3 AN line to 10x1.0, its simple, any shop that does AN lines should have the bits.

Bought the kit from a member here. You just heat up some bearing adaptors and slide them over the FB spindle. Then bolt on teh supplied brackets. Ordered the TII calipers/rotors/lines from Rock Auto cheap. Turned out good. I just cut the ends off my existing brake lines and put new 1.0 M10 brake fittings on.
