What is this?!

I'm slapping parts onto my rebuilt motor only to remember we broke a small plastic peice when pulling the motor. Any idea what this is?

It runs between the intake and the rats nest

I'll just stop by there when im out and about with my motor in the back. I gotta take it to a garage to get the back flywheel (drive plate on my auto) nut tightened to 350ft-lb of torque.
