Go to www.tirerack.com. They have Sumitomo HTR 200's for about $45-$50/tire. You can even get it up to a 215, which will fit on the stock wheel. A fantastic tire for the price, and also the only decent option out there. I'm running a worn down set of 215's on the stock wheels for auto-cross.

Primewells. They were cheap, but actually I've been quite happy with their performance.

They're from Tires Plus.

well i just mean i've seen it asked many times. i know that a lot of times when you search you end up with a lot of other information, not what you want... and somehow a mod or someone else walks up and is like search, and they show you this one they found... and its what you were looking for...

Futura RWL's 205/60-13's:

Not the grabbiest meat in the world, but not terrible either; they were cheap and the only RWL's I could find locally (Coopers I would have had to order)

It's funny to think back to the 1970's, when 70-series tires were considered "wide," and "low profile" for a street tire.

My first car had 78's as the stock profile.

I've been running the Sumitomos 215/50/13 for a few years now. First on stock + style rims which worked well enough for autocrosses and dailing driving, then later on some 8" rims where they seem much happier.

205 or 215, either way you can't go wrong with the Sumi's....

Kumho victor racer V7xx

I like them, driven about 1k miles on them so far and not noticed much wear, only thing I dislike is the horrible amount of tire dust.

yeah, Dunno what to call it. It's rubber feeling like, the tires are super soft rubber. It's after the front & rear wheels it comes after some fun spirited driving, never seen brake dust but on rims and i don't have any.

Oh and I peeled out and the rear behind the wheels was covered btw

Wonder if somebody used tire softener on those tires... some race slicks are so soft you can dig at them with a fingernail, and NASCAR and F1 tires shed rubber like mad.
