Between the 3 1st gens my family has now (2 running, 1 not) and these 2, I'm reasonable sure we can make at least one a driver, and one as a track/autox car. We are having title issues on the non running car, so it may become a parts car 9or track car.
Besides, my son will be getting his license in the next year or so. And guess what kinda car he wants.....

Here's the "stable" they will joining. The blue 85 is the one that's not running, mostly due to the engine sitting in the bronze one.....

If you look close, you can see the FC's in the background.

It's fun having alot of 7's! I only have the Sa and the Se and the S which would make a great track car since it is already gutted.

Back in the day when I was buying/selling and working on 7's. Yes, I did that for 2 years. I had 13 at the same time. 8 drivers and 5 parts cars. Alot of decision was which to drive, lol.

Yeah. I want to have at least one that I can take to the track. I am a little leary about taking my driver on the track these days. I will autox it no problem, but the risk at the track is just a little too high, for a car that is capable of winning show trophies.

Damn, if your were here I would just give you the 81. Better to go to the track instead of the wreckers.

Too bad it's so far away. Just my luck, though.

That's my daily/autox/track car. It's also the first one to be aquired, which started the whole rotary trend in my family.
As for the suspension, it's got blue springs. I do not know what brand, but have been told they are likely older tokico springs. Thay came on the car, along with the KYB shocks/struts and Ronal 15x7 +15mm wheels. I bought it from an impound lot, so no prior history was available, other than it was impounded after a traffic stop, and never claimed by the owner. That just proved it was running at the time.
I *may* replace the springs soon, possibly with the RESpeed coilover setup. If I do, these may be available for purchase.

Another view, including a temporary hood ornament.
