holy crap. i went out to rockingham dragway today for "battle of the imports". at first it was ok, there were a couple turbo civics putting down 13second 1/4's and 2 eclipses hitting mid 12's. then!!! the rx7's starting popping up easily hitting 12's on their fun runs and finally, the RX7.COM FD came out!! AHHHHHH! first run, 10.7 seconds. i missed the et because i couldnt believe how fast it was. he was totally consistent below 11's. i left early though to see his main last few runs. i hope he hit the 9's. that car is friggin beautiful. shooting flames and all. the best and most odd part was.... it was completely QUIET! i couldnt hear the exhaust at ALL!!!!! HOW??????? all you heard was tire spin and the turbo. which wasnt even that loud. anywho, i love my rotary.
